Foods and Feeding

Much is written about what is the best food for our Corydoradinae catfishes.

In nature they are basically filter feeders, taking up mouthfuls of fine substrate and filtering out the edible morsels they find, these can be small worms, crustaceans, insect larvae, and all manner of microorganisms.

In the market place there are literally hundreds of commercially formulated foods, that are produced in flake, pellet, granular, tablet, paste and self mixing gels. There are also a number of companies that produce a very good range of frozen foods.

Here I have concentrated on Live cultured and Live natural (collected foods.
