Corydoras sp. "Gold laser"

Breeding the "Gold Laser"

Considered by science as a variation of Corydoras aeneus, but by many in the hobby, me included, as a distinct species in its own right. This is fast becoming one of the most popular of Corydoras species in the hobby and is in great demand at moment in time. It has a lot of things going for it, first of all its striking colour pattern. Corydoras melanotaenia Regan, 1912 is referred to as the Olive Corys but I am afraid this species with its brilliant golden stripe outshines it and more especially when they are in breeding condition.
